King’s Hill

The re-shaped slope will complement the nearby playground by accommodating games and children’s activities requiring more space, and in winters it can be used for sledging.

The slope known as Királydomb (King’s Hill), which resulted from the demolition of the former BNV (Budapest International Trade Fair) buildings, will be somewhat ‘softened’ as part of the Liget Budapest Project to make it a more integral part of the park’s overall landscape design.

The rearrangement of the slope and its environs as well as the vegetation to be planted there will help to visually open up the renewed Olof Palme House towards the lawn-covered parkland area.
