The Nyereg [Saddle] cultural bistro located next to Városliget Lake is becoming more and more popular among families, the young at heart and even their pets. An atmospheric setting awaits you in the Pavilion Garden, where you can relax under the open sky, spiced up with quality Hungarian wines, summer coolers and music.

With its extremely interesting exterior and wide selection of burgers, Pántlika [Ribbon] Bistro can be a great choice after a walk or visit to the zoo. Its cuisine hails from various countries but also includes Hungarian culinary masterpieces.

The Millennium Café & Restaurant is a true little jewel box in the heart of the Városliget. The idea was to evoke the feelings of the palmy days of peace with its turn-of-the-century ambiance, isolated from the outside world.

Slightly set back and hidden at the foot of some shady trees, the Anonymus Bar & More is next to the Városliget Lake. It is a wonderfully atmospheric venue for an intimate family event, a romantic dinner or even a business meeting.

Between the City Park’s Main Playground and the Sports Centre there is a small, round gastro nook, named after the huge climbing frame evoking a balloon nearby. On offer here is sensationally delicious food, specialities coffees and ice cream.

Set in an atmospheric location between Vajdahunyad Castle and the House of Music Hungary, the Zöld Küllő [Green Spoke] awaits visitors under the shade of sycamore trees. It is the perfect location for people coming by bike and for those with children and pets.

The Picnic Garden opened its gates amidst the colourful world of the revamped Mihály Mőcsényi Botanical Garden, where you can enjoy a true close-to-nature experience. Food, drinks, music, film, and a special picnic ambiance.

The Ethno Bistro is housed in the impressive new building of the Museum of Ethnography, where you can drop in and refresh yourself between visiting two exhibitions or after exploring the park. Hot lunches, desserts, refreshments and ice cream are also available.

A bistro in the beautiful building of the House of Music Hungary serves delicious food and provides an excellent service with its attentive staff, making guests’ time spent here an experience enticing all the senses.

Next to the BalloonFly scenic viewpoint is the RundO, where after trying out the balloon visitors can discuss what they have just experienced over a nice cup of coffee or an artisan burger. On offer at the bar are pizzas, hot dogs and sausage specialities, as well as mouth-watering desserts.

Pizza lovers can also find the right spot for them in the City Park at Digo’s, the ‘ambassador of traditional Neapolitan pizza in Budapest’, which opened a new unit opposite the Zoo.
