The park and institutions renewed within the framework of the Liget Budapest Project have already attracted over seven million visitors in the last three years. The City Park has served as the venue for sports, cultural and family events as well as festivals. The institutions established and revamped as part of the Liget Budapest Project have hosted over 100 professional and public events, concerts, conferences and festivals.
The underground car par has a capacity for 800 vehicles on three levels, of which 751 are general parking spaces, 17 are wheelchair accessible, 24 are equipped with EV chargers and 71 are suitable for motorcycles. Reflecting the centuries-old ties between the City Park and the arts and constituting a unique feature in Europe, the interiors of the Museum Underground Parking facility are decorated with reproductions of masterpieces by 12 outstanding Hungarian masters from the collection of the National Gallery.

The Liget Budapest’s electric buses seating 12 people make it easy to get around the City Park, whether for an organised group drive or just for reaching specific destinations. Our partners can utilise bus park history walks and transportation can be arranged for groups within the park according to individual needs.
