Use the Liget+ services, register for membership and utilise the benefits

The use of the new, public toilets built as part of the Liget Budapest Project is free of charge for members of the Liget+ community. After a quick and free registration, you can find a QR code in every Liget+ account with which the toilets can be used for free.

We provide unlimited and free access to the Liget + WiFi network for Liget+ members on the entire area of the renewed City Park, both outdoors and in the institutions. 

Convenient online ticketing 

All the institutions of the City Park can be found in the Liget+ system, allowing you to easily and conveniently buy online tickets for the Museum of Fine Arts, the House of Music Hungary, the NEO Contemporary Art Space and many other institutions. 

Several of the cultural institutions in the City Park have joined the Liget+ system, and members are automatically given discounts on full-price tickets when they make their first purchase online. Institutions constructed or reconstructed within the framework of the Liget Budapest Project include: 

The House of Music Hungary, the House of the Hungarian Millennium – NEO Contemporary Art Square, the Museum of Fine Arts and the National Museum Restoration and Storage Centre. Discounts are also valid for the Hungarian National Gallery and the Ferenc Hopp Museum of Asiatic Arts. The list is constantly expanding.  

In addition, institutions provide an additional 10% discount on their selected events using coupon codes available in the Liget+ system.  

Numerous restaurants, cafes, bars and bistros are located in the renewed City Park and its institutions for the convenience of visitors. Some of them are especially recommended for visitors with children, while others are more suitable for having a drink in the evening with friends, but those looking for family dinners and work lunches are also catered to. More and more gastro points are joining the Liget+ system and give a 10% discount for Liget+ members. 

Events for Liget+ members only 

There is always something going on in the City Park. From spring to autumn, we organise numerous free sporting events, cycling days, activities for children, and even activities for dogs, all to help visitors to the park relax and recharge their batteries. Liget+ members can participate in our events free of charge. 

Whenever Liget+ members book tickets online for the football and basketball mini arena in the Városliget Sports Centre, they receive an automatic 10% discount.

• Travelling Suitcase - family board games from the Museum of Fine Arts bookable online + route tips in the permanent collection
• 15% discount on admission tickets to the Creative Sound Space at the House of Music Hungary

To redeem the membership, a one-time registration fee of HUF 1500 is required.Once activated, it is valid indefinitely.

• Your personal QR code grants unlimited use of the women’s, men’s and accessible changing rooms of the City Park Sports Centre, fitted with showers.

• You can book tickets for the Városliget Mini Arena and the Basketball Mini Arena at a 50% discount.

Membership is for an unlimited period, and requires registration with a one-time administration fee of HUF 2,000.

• Parking in the Museum Underground Parking is cheaper than in public spaces. 

• You don’t have to bother with parking receipts, just register your credit card and the amount of time you park will be automatically deducted exactly by the minute.  

• You can also charge your electric car using your bankcard saved in the Liget+ system; the amount of electricity used will be automatically deducted when charging has finished.  

• Since you need to enter your license plate number when you apply for membership, the barrier will automatically open for your car at every entry and exit point.

Do you live near the City Park and would like to avoid the hassle of searching for a parking place at the end of the day? We have a solution for you. Residents of Erzsébetváros, Terézváros and Zugló can use the Museum Underground Parking free of charge from 5 p.m. to 9 a.m.  

All you have to do is register on the Liget+ website and upload your residential parking permit, issued by the local government, to our system.

We regard it as important for children and young people studying in Hungary to be able to discover the architectural values, cultural treasures and events in the City Park within an organised school setting, together with their classmates.

We have, therefore, come up with Liget+Teacher membership, which allows teachers to organise group visits for pupils and students of educational institutions at discounted prices, even with on-site payment options, with the added bonus of offering events tailored to individual requests.

Teachers can apply for membership with a free, one-time registration and by uploading their OM certificate.

Liget+Teacher members can book time slots for events online, without prepayment, and can pay in cash on site. They can cancel their reservation with one click within the grace period specified for the given event.
