The new exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts is the first comprehensive presentation of the work of Hungarian émigré photographers in America. Realised in conjunction with the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, the large-scale exhibition featuring more than 30 photographers, including André Kertész, László Moholy-Nagy, Martin Munkácsi and Robert Capa, seeks to present the extraordinarily rich Hungarian-American photographic legacy through the works of world-renowned artists and those less known in Hungary displayed side by side.

JUL. 5. Fri. 18:00
Magyar Zene Háza

The Resonare Percussion Duo’s primary objective is to promote music inspired by percussion instruments and to explore together with the audience how these instruments too can be used to convey emotional depths. Their show combines well-known musical styles like flamenco, tango, folk and jazz, with Baroque melodies thrown into the mix as well. The interplay between dynamic drumming, colourful dances from southern lands and sensitive melodies is certain to prove to be a remarkable experience.

The Museum of Ethnography and the Liget Budapest Visitor Center is temporarily closed.
The Museum of Ethnography will soon welcome you with a new permanent collection exhibition, which affects the public areas of the museum and the Liget Budapest Visitor Center as well, so the museum will be closed for the summer months in order to welcome visitors with the new exhibition and renovated spaces in early autumn. During this time, the building’s rooftop garden, conference room, and restaurant will remain open to visitors.
